Systemic Influences on Night Sweats

Night Sweats

Night sweats can affect 80% of all women. Whether it’s perimenopause or menopause or other influences such as autoimmune disease, hormone imbalances, kidney disease, or cancer, they disturb sleep and can reduce the chances of complete healing. Sleep is one of the #1 most required components to overcoming any disease.

The difficulty is finding the root cause of the issue. Many who suffer, including myself, have tried multiple herbs and supplements only to find symptoms worsening or only a brief time of relief.

Coaches, practitioners, functional therapists and naturopathic doctors tend to reach for adaptogens and look at gut health. Although balancing your but microbiota is key to sustaining a healthy defense from destructive bacteria and parasites, they unfortunately are only a bandaide much like pharaceutical medications. There is limited research and low incidence of side effects for the natural choices. Medications and antibiotics bring temporary relief but destroy your immune system further and kill all your “soldiers” to protect your body from invasion.

Immune Suppressant Drugs And Antibiotics

Transplant patients who take anti-rejection drugs are destroying their gut microbiome (immune system) to prevent the immune system from attacking an organ that most often has parasitic eggs. After 4-5 years, if they have not undergone a parasite cleanse, they will find destruction of their transplanted organs due to the destruction of the good bacteria in the gut lining. This essentially blindfolds the “soldiers” and allows the parasites to destroy at will.

Patients who are on immune suppressant drugs for autoimmune disease struggle with a similar issue, but instead of getting well, it simply shuts off the red flag system and also allows mass destruction. Autoimmune disease is caused by a leaky gut in which the drugs kill your microbiome that is required for a healthy immune response in the first place. It’s a useless cycle that doesn’t help, but only creates a deadly outcome. But how would you know if you turn off the sirens?

Night sweats tend to be a common symptom of lupus, luekemia, lymphoma or other cancers, but don’t mean you have them. They are not just a hormone imbalance, that is a secondary cause of the initial trigger. The interesting thing about the commonality of all these diseases is they are all linked with one major denominator, parasites. 85% percent of people with insomnia test positive for parasites. Doctors, unfortunately, don’t usually do a deep enough dive to test for certain types of these destructive invaders.

During the day, parasites are more dormant, then awaken and move during night time hours (2-3am). Because they eat glucose foods, you tend to crave sugar and carbs at night.

Your body’s first line of defense is to launch mast cells to create a mucosal lining to protect your body from invaders. Mast cells then trigger histamines, and in turn estrogen. Estrogen stimulates histamines, which then recycles. If your detox systems are slow, you are deficient in nutrients necessary for healthy adrenal response or struggle with constipation, you can’t eliminate the excess histamines and estrogen. Adrenals try to help by releasing cortisol to help keep up with flushing of histamines which results in waking up in night sweats, anxiety and frequent urination.

In this cycle, estrogen dominance can quickly become a problem. Thyroid parasites are rarely tested for and often are the cause of nodes. Parasite infections are linked to almost all types of cancer.

How To Help Night Sweats Short Term

It is important not to eat several hours before bed so that histamines do not rise while you sleep. Parasites feed off of glucose rich foods, so it is important to eat light at night. In addition, toxins in food like preservatives, will keep your immune system distracted. This causes inflammation in your liver and kidneys and gives an open door for parasites to come feed and trash the place..so to speak. If you have digestion issues, you may not have enough stomach acid to kill off the parasites. Many vegans tend to struggle with parasite infections due largely to the fact they don’t eat any cholesterol rich animal meats which trigger proper stomach acid to fight parasites and destructive bacteria.

Activated charcoal and histamine blockers with DAO enzymes can help alleviate night sweats temporarily. It is imperative to stop the pests that are causing the cycle to start.

Parasite infections are not easy to quickly irradicate as they feed off of glucose, preservatives and heavy metals in our body. They may migrate into other organs if you try to eliminate them on your own. It is very important to work with a holistic health practitioner to address the hidden infections that go unnoticed with standard blood and stool testing.

There is a specific protocol to follow using targeted metods and timing. If you suffer with cirrhosis of the liver or kidney impairment, you should consult a physician before doing any detox or cleanse.

Here Are A Few Questions To Ask Yourself:

Is your immune system attacking the organ tissues? Or is the body simply trying to destroy the virus(microparasite) that has invaded the cells of the organ?

Is lowering a fever a good thing if the body uses heat to kill bad bacteria?
